We wanted to write at the end of term to thank you so much for all of your support, generosity, and friendship; especially so over such a challenging school year.
We would particularly like to extend our thanks to the group leaders, advocates, parents, carers and staff that enabled well over a thousand young people to visit our centres this term - often at very short notice - and in some cases with multiple pieces of paperwork to contend with, alongside some new ways of working.

A FOND FAREWELL TO...

With a heavy heart, this term we say farewell to some colleagues that many of you will know:

Jan, our fabulous cook at The Frank Chapman retires after an incredible 42 years of dedicated service, and having fuelled adventures for hundreds of thousands of young people.

We're hoping that she leaves her flapjack recipe with us...

Felix will be leaving us as Head of Ingestre Hall to pursue an exciting new opportunity supporting Arts organisations in Birmingham. He’s steered Ingestre through some incredibly beneficial and different ways of working, helped young people to access high quality arts experiences, and leaves us in a fantastic position to continue bringing arts and cultural experiences to groups for years to come.
And no doubt there will be some of you that are moving on or retiring; do get in touch as we’d love to send our very best wishes personally.

AND FINALLY

To all those thinking about, or in the process of planning, or already looking forward to residential visits at the centres, we can’t wait to see you soon!

Have a very restful summer,

Richard and the SRES team
