We've started the week with news that Edgmond Hall has joined Plas Gwynant, Ingestre Hall and Frank Chapman Centre as being proud recipients of the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge!

WHAT IS THE LOtC QUALITY BADGE?

The LOtC Quality Badge is awarded by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. It is a national award that inspects for the first time the key elements of a residential experience - learning and safety.

4 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE QUALITY BADGE

The LOtC Quality Badge is the only nationally recognised indicator of good quality educational provision AND effective risk management.
The award of the LOtC Quality Badge indicates that the provider understands schools' needs and can tailor their offer to fit in with both current curriculum requirements and and specific requirements of the school.
The LOtC Quality Badge helps you to ensure that you are making the best possible use of school time and that young people will access good quality educational experiences.
The Outdoor Education Advisors Panel endorse the LOtC Quality Badge, and the majority of Local Authority Educational Visits Advisors have indicated that they accept the award in place of some of their checks.

So, fantastic news, and the result of sustained good practice from all at Edgmond Hall. We'll sign off by sharing a few pictures showing some important things at Edgmond Hall that are even harder to measure!
