TEACHERS, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, CORPORATE PROGRAMMES

We strive to be more than just a provider of high quality learning experiences – we also aim to share and develop best practice, and help schools and other teams and organisations to prosper.
We create exciting learning moments in memorable places; taking these experiences back to the workplace can bring positive change to the culture of your organisation.

Imagine your team enthused, engaged, and having shared a memorable experience together, in a neutral environment... away from a screen!
Imagine a facilitated review on a mountainside, or after creating a collaborative piece of art.

Or maybe it's just time for your team to get out together, and to do something fun! Whatever your circumstance, we'll work with you to align our programme with your organisational values.

“I would definitely recommend organising a team building day - the centre will make it bespoke to your requirements, refreshments and lunch were nice and tasty, and the group leaders were motivational and encouraging”
Emma Burnell, Headteacher, Tividale Community Primary School
We do this in a number of ways:

Team-building days and residentials. Develop ways of working together and explore values in a “relaxed”, neutral environment. Shared experiences, points of reference delivered through outdoor learning or creative arts can lead to lasting, positive change in the workplace.
Planning days and residential weekends for schools. A combination of school prioritised learning, planning and development, and participation in outdoor (adventurous or gentle!) or creative arts activities.
Visit leader development: Team-working with teachers and leaders before and whilst accompanying groups of children – especially useful for first-time group leaders, and newly qualified teachers.
Courses for teachers and group leaders, including:
- free residential weekends for group leaders, to not only have a blast at outdoor adventurous or creative arts activities, but also to collectively consider the best ways to optimise positive outcomes for participants and apply that to course planning and delivery.
- One-day programme at centres for group leaders to focus on practical elements of working outdoors with children, or delivering arts learning, taking account of the curriculum, aims and objectives, group management, techniques etc.

The structure of the day and activities are tailored to suit the needs of your organisation, the team, and the individuals that we work with.

Activities differ by venue, and include team building and problem solving challenges, climbing, water-based activities, art, drama, facilitated hill walks, bushcraft, dance and music composition.

Learning is fun, experiential, and designed to translate directly to the workplace.
